Tyler graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he majored in broadcast journalism and minored in Spanish. He then served for four years in the United States Marine Corps as a member of the embarkation logistics crew for Light Attack Helicopter Squadron #167. After serving his country for another four years as a reservist, Tyler worked briefly as a floor manager in a local restaurant before heading to PIMCO, LLC, to train as a roofing inspector. Working exclusively for Allstate Insurance Company clients, Tyler prepared detailed estimates and comprehensive diagrams describing hail, wind, and other storm-related roof damage for area property owners. His property evaluation skills and experience working with homeowners and their insurance companies make him a valuable asset to the Summit Roofing team.
On his days off, Tyler loves discovering new places and can often be found exploring the happening scene in downtown-Raleigh. A dog-lover, he also enjoys walking his two rescue dogs around neighborhood parks. Boardgame nights, going to the movies, and celebrating with friends and family are also some of Tyler’s favorite things to do when he’s not working.
